Thursday, October 7 

Young Sheldon: Sheldon and Missy both run away from home, and Mary gets upsetting news about George Sr., on the fifth season premiere of this show. 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Available to stream on Paramount+

United States of Al: Al, Riley, Art, Lizzie, and Vanessa work together against a ticking clock to get Al’s sister out of Afghanistan and to safety after Kabul falls. It’s a very emotional, timely episode. 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS.  Available to stream on Paramount+

Friday, October 8 

Madame X: Madonna’s dazzling 2019 theater tour was officially filmed, and now you can watch it from your couch. Streaming on Paramount+

Saturday, October 9
